# 3 the wedding of bride Jessica & groom Luckey

On Saturday 27th September 2015 in her family home in Joshua Tree, Californian bride Jessica married her groom Luckey. With a wild cacti and dessert backdrop only natural touches were chosen including fresh flowers, reclaimed wooden tables and a 100% vegan wedding cake. Jessica described her wedding in one word, 'natural' a feeling and presence achieved and portrayed so effortlessly within the photography, captured by Rad and In Love's Jaime. The photography, the music and the authentic spirit of the bride and groom really do exude a beautiful feeling of love and relaxation, we are so honoured to welcome this stunning couple to our BRIDAL INSTINCT family.

So sit back, relax and enjoy the oh so natural and enlightening ceremony celebration of Jessica Mau and Luckey Remington including our exclusive BRIDAL INSTINCT interview and a pretty stunning 'ethereal meets the worldly wild west' soundtrack... so make sure to hit play below!

your wedding to yoU?

Natural.  Full of love, beauty, magic and merrymaking!

what about your bridal style?

We really just went with what the land offered. The backdrop to the ceremony were two huge saguaro cacti and the seating area for dinner was under the dessert sky. We didn't think too much about co-ordinating the other details. We tried to go as natural as possible using reclaimed wood tables and compostable paper plates. We kind of just threw together what we had and what we liked.

Your number 1 wedding rule?

It really helped to to run off by ourselves and take a few deep breaths together. It was surreal to drop into what we were actually doing.

ok, so your day! tell us the moment you felt like a true bride?

Definitely when the eclipsed moon rose up behind us while we were having dinner. We planned our date to fall on the full moon in September but to our surprise it was the blood super moon eclipse!

It was unforgettable.

...AND WHAT ABOUT A MOMENT TO RELIVE?

Probably the moment above with the moon. It was such a double dose of magic on an already magical evening.

traditions? tell us your thoughts?

I had to ditch the idea of bridesmaids or a maid of honour. I walked in and out of the ceremony with my man.

your wedding soundtrack?

My hubby Luckey did the playlist for the wedding. It is still my favourite playlist. He really set the mood of the evening, like ethereal meets the worldly wild west. It was perfect. Jane Birkin & Caetano Veloso, O Leaozinho, Hans Zimmer, Beach Song and Kyu Sakamoto, Ue O Muite Arukou (Sukiyaki)

how is married life?

So full in every way possible. I didn't expect such a dramatic change but it has definitely deepened our relationship and made it much more meaningful.

...and how about a TOP TIP FOR BRIDES TO BE?

Definitely have a wedding!  We were on the fence about having an actual ceremony. The idea of eloping or just going to city hall were both on the table but in the end we are so happy that we had an actual ceremony and celebration!
